How to measure your true charm

This is a car from an American car company called AMC. It's a rare car, but I like its design. An interesting car. If you're interested, search for AMC.

But anyway, that kind of talk is irrelevant...

Since childhood, I've had a strong feeling of not fitting in with my surroundings, of not feeling right. When I was little, it was like I had to crush myself for the sake of appearances. Well, I was made to feel bad if I didn't conform. I felt guilty about being myself.

Is this also irrelevant talk... Today's main topic is...

Anyway, when you're in an organization with a strong tendency to conform, you're told, 'Look in the same direction! Go!' and you're forced to 'race' within that context. Then, what happens! Even if you win (physically!), the cars running in the same direction can't truly feel their own speed. The cars that win the race also experience a net speed difference. The cars that fall behind also have a negative feeling of 'lacking,' 'not enough' compared to the faster cars. Is this necessary??

Well, on the contrary. "It's okay to not go in the same direction as everyone else!" You should just run as fast as you can. If you can just concentrate on your own path, that's all you need, but that's difficult in itself, isn't it? You're not living on a deserted island. You have some relationship with those around you. You'll encounter different values. But then, again, physics!! The speed of oncoming cars is added. It's precisely when you're going in a different direction than others that your own speed is added. Intuitively, those around you are like a "push" or "shoulder to lean on." You'll probably be grateful. With this logic, it doesn't matter if you're slower than oncoming traffic.

So, it's okay not to go in the same direction as everyone else!

Your charm is truly revealed when you pursue what you want to do and head in the direction you want to go. It's okay to be different from others. And then, those around you understand that, and it's okay. (Physics!) They support you. And your speed increases automatically!

That's how I think about it.
