The near future I often dream of.

I remember this while watching. I watch it over and over.

That was the time. As evening fell, the wind stopped, the sea surface became clear, and I went surfing. That was in San Diego, wasn't it? Gazing alone at the Pacific, I wondered how those people were doing.

People from the neighborhood who had finished surfing greeted me, but I didn't return their greetings. I decided not to talk to anyone.

I decided to claim my own space and time and stand alone. I belong to one and nowhere.

I often see such scenes, emotional scenes, in the near future. And then I'll probably think, 'I wonder if those people are doing well.'

I accept all of this as good.
