# 掘り方の変化 2 **Source:** https://taksanart.com/en/掘り方の変化-2 **Language:** English --- Before I knew it, I was digging. Discovery Game. But lately, I think my way of digging has changed. As long as we live on Earth, physically, wherever you dig, the end of the tunnel is just another tunnel. So, I used to think that way, with physical objectivity. I used to dig with an endpoint in mind. In the past, it was the same with my work. I would set a goal, clarify it as much as possible, decide where to dig, and then dig. Digging within the scope of what I could imagine. It felt good when a tunnel was completed, but more than that, I was more concerned about quantitative things like deadlines, costs, subsequent traffic, and profits. A sense of accomplishment-oriented... is that what it was? That kind of digging. It's a little different now. I focus on each thing I encounter. Then I realized something: unlike digging a tunnel, this is a way of digging that doesn't aim for completion. It's a way of digging that aims for discovery. I once heard from a quantum physicist that one knows how much energy is contained within a hydrogen molecule... It feels similar to that. That's right. I think if I kept digging even within my own cells, at some point the concept of an 'objective scale' would disappear. XXcm, XXm, those are worlds I wouldn't understand anymore. Can you deny the possibility that the Milky Way exists within my cells? Interesting. So, what about the 'concepts' I think about? I think it applies to abstract, non-material things like 'Ideas' too. At some point, the concept of 'scale' disappears, and a vast, boundless world appears. I believe in that possibility, and perhaps I'm enjoying this game of digging and discovering little by little. So I dig. Yes, my way of digging might have changed. Painting) The first painting I did in America. Perhaps it was my exploration spaceship digging into myself. Seeing the world with eyeless eyes, ready to discover! ... Or something! ### Share this: - Share on Facebook (Opens in new window) Facebook - Share on X (Opens in new window) X - Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window) WhatsApp ### Like this: Like Loading… ### Leave a Comment Cancel Reply
