Sicily has a unique warmth.

Usually, when you meet people while traveling, you are often asked things like, "Is this your first time here?"

What many people I met in Sicily (for the first time) said to me was: (immediately after meeting me)

"When will you come back here next?"

Who would think of such kind words???!!!   
There are very warm people. If you have the chance, please visit Sicily! The food is also the best.
